It’s that time again…how goes the noveling? Rant about your pesky characters, tepid dialogue, and unnecessarily long, boring, and extremely extensive use of adjectives and other such words that make your novel that much closer to 50,000 words, which is the goal for the month.

Music and the Chamber Orchestra of Secrets
Deep blow the stone floors of the Music Conservatory of Waltz and Warbling, something older than memory stirred. A scattering of dried bones cracked and crumbled to dust as they cascaded to the floor, as something shifted beneath the huge mound on which they were piled. And, so faint that no one outside the dusty cellar could perceive it, there came a sound. It was something like the light, tuneless twang of an aged violin.
